Few tips to help you with getting through tough and stressful exam days: -
Focus on important topics and gain some positive momentum in your learning by building through these topics.
Identify what exactly within those topics that you are struggling with and seek help; one-on-one private tuitions are not always the answer but can help you through difficult and complex topics quickly and can help you gain your self-confidence.
If it helps you, make a list of things to learn or to do and set yourself realistic achievable targets of learning and more importantly, stick to your targets.
Energy drinks or junk food is often our companion but the short bouts of energy through this actually has detrimental impact on our sleep patterns during exam days and can negatively affect our moods - avoid them as much as you can. Eat healthily
Exercise regularly. Walking, jogging or if you fancy any particular sports, then playing sports. These activities whilst may seem to be taking up bit of your time away from studies but that’s exactly what is needed to enable you to have the focus that you need on studies
Allow yourself time to rest – downtime is important and it freshens you up for another round of learning. If you are struggling with sleep, try out some relaxation activities like deep breathing, meditation or listening to music.
Don’t compare yourself with your peers or friends. Remember you and your learning and your abilities are unique and are relevant for you and for your life.
